Day 01/ Arrival Varanasi + Half day tour
Arrival Varanasi, meet with our representative and then transfer to the hotel. Afternoon you will explore the ancient temples of Varanasi. Sankat Mochan Hanuman Mandir: a temple dedicated to our lord Hanuman and it was built in the 16th century. Tulsi Manas Temple: an important place where famous poet Tulsidas wrote the hindu epic Ramcharitmanas. Durga Temple: ancient hindu temple which is dedicated to Maa Durga. This temple was built in the 18th century. Banaras Hindu University: one of the prestigious and oldest universities of Varanasi. Evening you can experience the Ganga Aarti followed by a boat ride. Overnight stay in Varanasi.
Day 02/ Varanasi sightseeing with food tour
Early morning we will pick you from the hotel for the boat ride to explore the popular Ghats of Varanasi. Later come back to the hotel. After breakfast, you will visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple: an ancient Hindu temple dedicated to lord Shiva and it is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas in India. Later you can visit the Sarnath: a UNESCO World Heritage Site which is also one of the popular tourist attractions in Varanasi. Evening you can explore the local markets or you can also enjoy the food tour in Varanasi. Overnight stay in Varanasi.
Day 03/ Varanasi - Ayodhya (By drive approx 220kms/05hrs)
After breakfast check-out from the hotel and then straight drive to Ayodhya. Arrival Ayodhya and then transfer to the hotel. Later proceed to visit Hanuman Garhi Temple: temple is dedicated to lord Hanuman and it was built in 10th century. It is believed that one should visit Hanuman temple before visiting Ram Mandir. Dashrath Mahal: the residence of king Dashrath, a father of lord Shri Ram and the ruler of Ayodhya. Kanak Bhawan: a popular temple of lord Ram and Sita, it is believed that this place was gifted to Maa Sita by Kaikei. Evening you can visit the aarti ceremony at Saryu Ghat. Overnight stay in Ram Ji Ki Nagri Ayodhya.
Day 04/ Ayodhya - Departure
Morning after breakfast check-out from the hotel and proceed to visit Ram Janambhoomi: it is not just a temple, it’s a heartbeat of Ayodhya. This temple is newly constructed but it was the original birth place of our lord Rama. Honestly, speaking, it’s a very beautiful temple and you must be full of tears when you actually visit this temple. Carving on the temple walls is mind blowing and the idol of lord Rama is very beautiful. After visiting Ram Janambhoomi, you can explore the local markets. Afternoon transfer to the Ayodhya airport or train station.
Note:
– Varanasi and Ayodhya both are well connected by airport and train station.
– You can also choose train option from Varanasi to Ayodhya.
– Language guides other than English will be arranged on request.
– Boat ride in Varanasi is not possible during raining season.
